To add someone as an operator, follow these steps:

Log in on the website, and go to the Operators section.
- Enter the user's exact avatar name (it's case sensitive) and add them on the operators list. Please note this is not their display name, but their "legacy" avatar name. For older avatars with first and last name, you would enter "John Smith" for example. For newer avatars without last names, you would enter "john Resident" for example (note the Resident last name).
- In Second Life, reset your Controller by touching it and selecting the Reset button.
